My dog has been going here since she was a pup. When Dr. Comas took over I decided to stay because she seemed good, however now that they "expanded" prices have been outrageous. I just went in for the shot clinic and tried to get some Heartguard, they told me they couldn't give the medication without an annual test (my dog has been on it since she was a pup). Never before have they required this - they said they were having a "special" this month and it's $70 (from $80) for the test (then you pay another $80 for the office visit). It sounded like a sales pitch and I told them I have a problem with this tactic. It's not for the animal, it's to line their pockets. While waiting for the shot clinic to start I called Myrtle Ave Vet - they charge $25 for the SAME test and no office visit (but I asked and they charge $50 for an office visit if I needed one).
