Review content:
When I first moved to Brentwood, the local vets provided their own 24-hour service, but as Brentwood got bigger, a lot of vets started referring emergencies to the clinic in Concord. That was a long drive with a sick or bleeding animal, and picking the animal up at 8:00 am in Concord was a hassle in Hwy 4 traffic. \r

I was so grateful to have EBVE there when I had to use it the first time. My dog had been sick earlier in the day and went to his normal vet. The vet was uncertain of a diagnosis and sent him home after some tests. The dog had a crisis in the evening and was unable to stand up. We rushed him to EBVE, where the doctor on call detected a symptom in his eyes that told him what the problem was, and what medication was needed. Rusty was much better and we had a peaceful night. \r

I was impressed by the staff's efficiency, cleanliness, and security.
