Review content:
We boarded our lab at Gem Crest. She had never been boarded before, at 3 years old. We made a trip to Washington to buy a house. I left WA early on the day I was to pick her up, and ran into a severe storm in Baker City, then road construction in Washington, and in Boise on the way to pick her up. I called three times, and told them what was happening, and they said they would wait 10 minutes. I would not even stop to use the restroom, since I didn't want to be late. At 6:07, I arrived, and the lady was about to lock the gate, so they did not wait AT ALL. The lady refused to get my dog, and continued locking the gate, as I pleaded with her. She was totally unconcerned. I got NO sleep that night, I was so upset. I will NEVER board there again. Also, our lab is very friendly, and loves everyone and wags her tail constantly. She loves to go to the vet. When I left her there, she was not wagging her tail & seemed nervous. I had never seen her like that. I guess dogs can sense when people don't really care about them.
