Review content:
We have two a/c units in our home. We replaced the largest unit a year ago and also purchased a maintenance agreement for both a/c units. This company kept ""reminding"" us that the a/c units were due for maintenance check ups. Their tech came out and checked both indoor units. All was well. Both were cooling and working fine. As it was lightly raining, the tech was only able to check one outside unit, thank goodness. Conveniently, a couple of days later, the unit on which the tech worked, quit cooling. Another tech from this company came out and said the unit needed a $600 repair or better yet, we needed a new a/c unit. We declined both and called another a/c company. Turns out the repair was less than $300 with fewer parts involved than the original assessment. I am totally convinced that the a/c unit was sabotaged by the tech doing the maintenance. Today, another person shared that the same thing happened to them with Air Around the Clock. What a racket! I spoke with Doug at AAC who professed disbelief that I would think such a thing. We are all entitled to our opinion. I do believe, however, that there are no coincidences. Bottom line: If it isn't broken, don't fix it, especially with this company.
