The reason that I would rate Peterson Auto & Truck highly is because they were honest with me. They showed me everything that they were doing, and they were up front. As a consumer, sometimes you come across people that just create more obstacles because they're not up front with you.
I wanted to do one thing, and they told me that they wouldn't recommend that because of certain factors, and I appreciated their honesty. I had a motor replaced, and they went out of their way to find a new one with only 48,000 miles on it, and it runs like it's brand new. They put in the motor a lot quicker than I expected as well. I dropped it off Thursday for them to take a look at it, and they had it back to me in less than a week. I was very surprised. Also, Dave was an awesome mechanic, and he thoroughly showed me the entire process step by step on what they had worked on.
My son's car has been having issues with his motor as well. I told him to go ahead and buy a new one and that I would take his and fix it up as well, and I will be taking it to them soon.
Peterson really stuck with me. I had another place before, and instead of telling me that my motor was shot and bad, they added transmission fluid so it was all gunked up. Because they didn't change the oil properly, it basically kind of blew up. That was my last time at the other place, and even though Peterson Auto & Truck is about 15 miles away from me, I will be going here from now on.
