Review content:
I was brought here for a friends birthday. We were greeted by the owner and his wife and treated as though he had known us for ever and ever.
The food was incredible and prepared as we wanted it to be. The proprietor kept checking on us, bringing us things. He had just made a cake (YES, MADE) would you like some? I suggest this today. No, don't eat that, I didn't do a good job with it this time, etc...
The atmosphere is small, cluttered and oh, so comfortable with musical instruments hanging off the walls everywhere. People drop in, order, pick up an instrument and start picking.
Want to know some local gossip? Well, just listen at the counter; he knows EVERYONE!
This is Americana not corporate and the food is pure and simple great.
Wonderful. Just wonderful. Small and just quirky enough that you should expect to sit and talk a bit. But that's what a local I supposed to be like, right?Great local place to go to again and again and again.
