Review content:
I went (grudgingly) to this place with some gal pals as it was recommended by ""hipster"" types at work. Surprised by the really eclectic bar area where we took seats and ordered wine and cheese (huge selection of cheeses). The bartender was really gregarious and fun AND selected a great wine for me based on me telling my likes and dislikes...no ""buttery"" or ""oaky"" Chards for me, etc. We decided to stay for dinner and jazz.. The hostess gave a tour of the romantic patio seating, fireplace and all...and the dining room with a cool collection of rock art and memorabelia...we decided to sit in the bar area, close to the music. It was a very happening place. I ordered the duck breast salad with beets and cranberries. Very savory with glass of Pinot Noir. We girls got up and danced although there isn't really a dance floor per se'. An enjoyable time was had by all. We stayed for about four hours, received friendly knowledgeable service and never felt rushed so they could turn the table. I would definitely return for a romantic date out by that fireplace on the patio or bring my parents (they love jazz). Great food, wine, fun and great energy...
Pros: chick friendly atmosphere
Cons: the ladies bathroom could be decorated better
