Review content:
Our 2007 Nissan Sentra lost power on the freeway and we had to get it towed. We were referred to Longview Radiator and Automotive. We live in North Dallas, so we are from out of town and always pretty anxious when using someone other than our own mechanic.
Longview Radiator and Automotive (LRA) performed diagnostics on our vehicle. It was determined that we needed a new transmission!
This was going to be $3,000 - $4,000. LRA then did something we didn't expect, they researched this problem and found that Nissan had allowed for an 'unusual' extended warranty for this repair. Our regular warranty had expired! We thought there was NO WAY this repair would be covered.
But LRA did their due diligence and came to our rescue. Two weeks later I am still in shock! Their slogan is "Honest and Reliable" and we are proof that is true! Our repair was covered, and actually performed at the Nissan dealership. So imagine a shop finding out a repair is covered (when you didn't think it would be), then sending it to the dealership! Maybe this is standard, but it feels like a miracle! Thank you Longview Radiator and Automotive.
