Longview Radiator & Automotive Repair

I started using Longview Radiator and Automotive two years ago. I will not go anywhere else. I am always treated well and the service they render is top-notch. They always alert me to any concerns and the estimates are always reliable. more

Our 2007 Nissan Sentra lost power on the freeway and we had to get it towed. We were referred to Longview Radiator and Automotive. We live in North Dallas, so we are from out of town and always pretty anxious when using someone other than our own mechanic. Longview Radiator and Automotive (LRA) performed diagnostics on our vehicle. It was determined that we needed a new transmission! This was going to be $3,000 - $4,000. LRA then did something we didn't expect, they researched this problem and found that Nissan had allowed for an 'unusual' extended warranty for this repair. Our regular warranty had expired! We thought there was NO WAY this repair would be covered. But LRA did their due diligence and came to our rescue. Two weeks later I am still in shock! Their slogan is "Honest and Reliable" and we are proof that is true! Our repair was covered, and actually performed at the Nissan dealership. So imagine a shop finding out a repair is covered (when you didn't think it would be), then sending it to the dealership! Maybe this is standard, but it feels like a miracle! I've used them on several occasions and they always go above and beyond. They don't just do the thing you brought your vehicle in for, they look for other things that could go wrong soon. They caught something for me before I went on a road trip that could have been safety hazard. more

I took my car to Longview Radiator And Automotive because a light on the dashboard came on. They were able to run a diagnostic and tell me what needed to be done before they began doing any work. I liked that they gave me information without being pushy. Once I approved the work, they proceeded to fix the problem. The work was done on my Jaguar, and not too many people can work on those. Overall, they seem like nice people and I trust them, I don't feel like they are taking advantage of me. more

I've had them do substantial work on four different vehicles for me, both for work and personal vehicles. It has always been done in a timely manner. I've never had to take anything back a second time. Any time you go in, they do a diagnostic test on the vehicle which helps identify issues before they happen. more
