I am from the Bay Area. I LOVE my sushi. It is a huge deal for me. I am thrilled to see a Japanese Cuisine restaurant here in Jackson. At first I was very skeptical, most sushi places I have been to were very 'westernized' and only offered the "California Rolls". (If I wanted California rolls, I might as well just go to Costco) \r

Oko really does offer a good menu. I have had every sushi meal on that menu! I've also had the platters, and the Udon, and even some sake. \r

The food is very tasty, you get a lot for your buck. \r
The waitresses and Chefs are incredibly nice and polite. You can watch the cooks make your food as well as chat with them. \r

It is clean, and it doesn't smell like fish. \r
The fish is juicy, savory, and melts in your mouth. My favorite plate to order is the Bay Scallop rolls. \r

I really like this place, and I hope they stay around for a good, long time.
