As the school year comes to an end, it's hard to believe that my little boy will be graduating from The Goddard School (located) in Montville! Kindergarten will be an exciting time for him, but there will be a little sadness saying goodbye to all the wonderful teachers and staff who taught and nurtured him for over two years. Like most parents of toddlers, I was nervous starting him in full-time daycare, but my worries were quickly put to rest as I saw him thoroughly enjoy himself and look forward to going to school. Everyday has been like an adventure and he greatly enjoyed all the structured activities that Goddard had to offer, from circle time, to centers, to playground time and music class. He also loves the social interaction with his peers and has made some great friends. I also feel reassured that he has received a good foundation in Pre-K topics such as the alphabet, writing, numbers, holidays, nature, literature and special projects.
