Goddard School

I have a child that has been here for four plus years. He will be graduating at the end of June. I cannot say enough good things about this school- from the infant room all the way through!!! The care, love, and constant attention from staff has been excellent. The office staff has always been extremely accommodating in flexing schedules and helping forgetful or first time parents. The owners are always available and know all of the children. The cookie ritual at the end of the day will never be forgotten! more

We are very pleased with the care our daughter is receiving in the infant room. The teacher's are very caring and they are very attentive to my child's needs. They go above and beyond each day since my child has been there. In addition the office staff caters to grandparents who may need assistance with car seats or just opening doors as they leave. It is very hard to leave a 3 month child in a daycare facility but the Goddard school has really put me and my husband at ease. I would definitely refer my family and friends to this school. more

My son started going there last year, it seemed like a good school. Until a few months later when I heard Mariann, the director, and another employee Jessica, screaming at the staff! They didn't see me but when they did, they became so sweet. They also screamed at 2 clients, one had forgotten her checkbook and said she would pay the next day! NO ONE should be talked to that way, I would fire my managers if they ever spoke to my staff like that! if you're smart stay away from them! more

My son has been going to the Goddard School since he is 3months old. I can't even express how thankful I am to the owners and all the teachers at Goddard. The biggest compliment I can give to the Goddard School is I've never worried about my son while I was at work, my mind was always at ease. Which to any parent is the best feeling. The Goddard School offers love, guidice, and a safe learning environment. My son now is 3 years old and when I go pick him he doesn't want to leave. So I guess that says it all. For any new parents looking for a school for their child, Goddard by far is the best around!!! more

As the school year comes to an end, it's hard to believe that my little boy will be graduating from The Goddard School (located) in Montville! Kindergarten will be an exciting time for him, but there will be a little sadness saying goodbye to all the wonderful teachers and staff who taught and nurtured him for over two years. Like most parents of toddlers, I was nervous starting him in full-time daycare, but my worries were quickly put to rest as I saw him thoroughly enjoy himself and look forward to going to school. Everyday has been like an adventure and he greatly enjoyed all the structured activities that Goddard had to offer, from circle time, to centers, to playground time and music class. He also loves the social interaction with his peers and has made some great friends. I also feel reassured that he has received a good foundation in Pre-K topics such as the alphabet, writing, numbers, holidays, nature, literature and special projects. Our son loves the Goddard School. The ever present owners are very kind people. The teachers are very involved and caring, although there seems to be quite a bit of turn-over. The office staff also changes often making it hard to get to know eveyone. They cater a nice carnival during the summer and make each holiday exciting. more
