Review content:
I have no idea how this place is rated #1 in the Bay Area.
It has been three days and my rear door is still not repaired. THREE DAYS. This is not a major repair and I have no idea why it has taken this long.
The first day I took it in they lubricated the lock and told me it was fixed. Got halfway back to work and it still wasn't working.
Took it back the next day and they determined they had to order a whole new lock. So they told me to bring it back the following day (today).
Brought it in today and they did not have the part even though it supposedly overnighted. They said it won't even come in until this evening! I asked why they couldn't even have the common courtesy to call to tell me that before I drove over from the East Bay and they didn't have an answer. They offered me a rental car so I could leave my car there which makes not an iota of sense. My car will just be sitting until the part arrives and I'll have to worry about picking up/returning/insurance on a rental.
I just really cannot believe the inefficiency of this service department. The communication is piss poor. Everyday I've had to call them to check on the status of my car. Shouldn't they call and update me? That's always been my experience with other dealerships.
This is my first Hyundai and I love my car but they've put a really sour taste in my mouth. Crossing my fingers that other service departments in the Bay aren't this horrible because I will never, and I mean never ever, EVER bring my car to this service department again after this repair is complete. And I suggest you don't either if you value your time and energy. I'd give them zero stars if I could.
