I've only met Jim at Mars Carpet and Flooring a couple of times when I bought carpet but I like him as an individual. I believe there's a great deal of honesty and integrity so I would recommend them very highly.
I own five rentals and my initial contact with them was totally by accident. I needed a small carpet job to be done in one of my small studio apartments. I noticed their sign from the freeway and decided to go in and check them out. I found exactly what I wanted at a very good price. They arranged everything and I was totally happy.
One of my larger rentals, a 2,777 square foot house, had a lot of damage from the former renters and a water leak. All of the carpet, everything that wasn't tiled, had to be replaced. I checked the prices with their major competitors and Mars beat out all of them by a significant margin. I got very good material installed very well and would recommend them to anyone in need of similar services.
