Mars Carpet & Flooring did a beautiful job. The gentleman that came out was fantastic and everything was great. I almost lost everything Mars did during a big storm that we had but I was able to save it. It would've been a shame to lose all that beautiful new carpeting, but I saved it! more

I've only met Jim at Mars Carpet and Flooring a couple of times when I bought carpet but I like him as an individual. I believe there's a great deal of honesty and integrity so I would recommend them very highly. I own five rentals and my initial contact with them was totally by accident. I needed a small carpet job to be done in one of my small studio apartments. I noticed their sign from the freeway and decided to go in and check them out. I found exactly what I wanted at a very good price. They arranged everything and I was totally happy. One of my larger rentals, a 2,777 square foot house, had a lot of damage from the former renters and a water leak. All of the carpet, everything that wasn't tiled, had to be replaced. I checked the prices with their major competitors and Mars beat out all of them by a significant margin. I have been using Mars Carpet & Flooring for about 15 years now. They have done several different jobs for me. Jim is a good guy. They offer a quality service and have good prices. Certain selections are significantly cheaper than other places. The quality is excellent. I would not hesitate in recommending them. more

I had a party at my place a few months back and there were a few stains that remained after all the cleaning was done so I decided that Mars Carpet could do a better job in getting rid of those stains. The team they sent out was quick, efficient and very particular about how they were to take care of the job. I am glad I went with them more

Mars Carpet & Flooring did exactly what they promised they would do. The installation crew, and the results, were outstanding! They replaced our carpeting with new, laminate flooring. They also replaced the baseboards. It was our first time using them, and the process went exactly as they told us it would. The installation crew did a fantastic job! We had someone come in after the fact who was a craftsman, and he was marveling at how well they did the baseboards in particular. more

I have nothing bad to say about Mars Carpet & Flooring! I recently had them put down laminate flooring in two bedrooms and a hallway. They also put linoleum in the bathroom and all new baseboards. They took care of all that work in one day. There were three workers, and they were all very nice and clean. They cleaned up everything when they left. The floors turned out beautifully! They look absolutely wonderful, and I get so many comments on them. They did the work really quickly, and I paid a fair price! I've gotten flooring from them before, and I found they were wonderful. They do an excellent job. That's why I went back to them again for this job, and I would definitely use them again. Jim is so nice to deal with, and I just love the floors! more

The crew from Mars Capet and Flooring did their job however they stretched the carpet and forced us to pay extra for it. After they had finished the entire work there were some air bubbles that could be felt when stepping on it and they almost did not want to come back and fix it. Also, behind the stove the carpet was also terribly placed, so overall I was just frustrated with their lack of expertise in putting down something as simple as carpet. RESPONSE FROM MARS CARPET & FLOORING: There are many conflicts in this review that are inconsistent with the actual job performed. The customer purchased vinyl to be installed in their kitchen and when scheduling the installation they asked if our installers would do some extra work stretching their existing carpet. The customer was told there would be an additional charge for the work due to the crew and they agreed to it. After the vinyl installation was complete some air bubbles were discovered underneath the vinyl which is not uncommon. When we were informed the installer returned within a day or two as his schedule allowed and remedied the problem. As far as carpet behind the stove we have no idea what that is about as we never moved the stove and our installation job in the kitchen was vinyl not carpet. more

Everything was good and we were satisfied. Mars Carpet and Flooring installed carpet. Went in the office and they were nice and friendly. The guys were on time and put in the carpet with no problem. more

Overall I had a very good experience with Mars Carpet & Flooring. We hired them to install carpet in one of our rooms. The salesperson was really good and helpful. He put off ordering when we said we wanted to wait. I wasn't here when they came to install the carpet, and the worker didn't stretch the carpet. I had to call them to come back and stretch it, and when the worker came he gave me some attitude. But now the carpet is fine. more

I've worked with Mars Carpet & Flooring before. I had laminate flooring in my kitchen they put down. Then there was a flood and they replaced it. They're quick and they're good. The workers are great. They arrive on time, they finish on time, and they're always grateful. I've been using their service for many years. I've recommended them to the people across the street. They used them because they had the sink overflow one night and they woke up with a lake in their house. The customer service at these big lot stores is blah. The people at Mars Carpet & Flooring are extra nice and help you out. I'm 75 and my husband is 77. We have a lot of antique furniture and they moved it all for me and didn't charge me a penny. more

I really don't have anything bad to say about our time dealing with Mars Carpet & Flooring. They installed carpeting in our living room and on the staircase. The installers didn't give us any reason to complain while they were getting that done. more

Mars Carpet & Flooring did a fantastic job. We had them do a fairly large project that consisted of installing floors, carpeting, and baseboards. They did exactly what they said they would do. They got it done when they said they would. We really couldn't be happier. more

The quality of product was very good. The people at the MARS CARPET & FLOORING (a husband and wife, owners of the store perhaps?) were very friendly, very nice, and helpful. The time frame of things seemed off. I'm still waiting to get a price quote; it's been quite some time now. I guess they got busy or forgot. more

We had Mars Carpet & Flooring start in one room and then eventually work on every room one at a time. They've done tile, carpet, and wood and everything turned out great and looks beautiful. Mars Carpet & Flooring did a good job. I'm really happy. Jim's a good guy. We picked the carpet and we're happy with it. It was installed well. We've known Jim personally, other than through carpeting, for years. He was pretty easy to work with. He let us pick out our color and gave us some direction, but was knowledgeable enough to not tell us what to do. The installation was good. It's still not finished. We purchased carpeting for three rooms, but have only done one so far. Jim brought all the carpet out and the agreement was that they would do two more rooms later. He said he'd take care of holding the carpet since he has a warehouse. Jim followed up; we got a thank you letter from him yesterday. I don't know if that's part of the whole process, but it was nice. He's a good guy. He's just really easy to work with and low pressure. more
