Review content:
City Tavern is a great lunch or dinner destination for tourists visiting Philadelphia. Prices are definitely cheaper for lunch than for dinner, but the menu looks about the same for both, so go for a late lunch here. Of particular note is the selection of beer, most of which are "special recipes" from our nation's forefathers. My wife and I enjoyed dinner here one evening, but we were stuck in a room with a large bus tour. Make reservations if you go in the summer, and watch out for large tour groups.
