Review content:
I foolishly agreed to let A-1 American install 2 thermostats in my water heater, the price quoted was $486.79. No being a plumber, and needing hot water, I agreed. The plumber left, came back in an hour with the parts, and loosened 8 screws, slid out the old parts, slid in the new parts, put the cover back on and turned the breaker. Total time using a screwdriver, maybe 15 minutes. The company is outrageous in it's pricing and I would not recommend them to anyone. AVOID THIS COMPANY, unless you have lots of money you no longer want. In addition they stated the price of a new water heater would have been $1700.00, which I did research and found to be a total fabrication.
