Review content:
For about 15 years I have been going to Dr. Etskovitz for occasional foot problems (broken toe, arch problems, ingrown toenails, etc.), and I have recommended him to a number of friends and business associates. I would say there is a general consensus among us that Dr. Etskovitz is the best physician in the Solar System. As you can see from other reviews here and on other physician review sites, Dr. E is extremely knowledgeable and skilled, caring, very patient, informative, personable, not the least bit imperious or arrogant. I have never met any other physician quite like him. It's just a pleasure to visit him for foot care.\r
BTW, be sure to do every home-care step that Dr. E asks you to. If he asks you to soak your foot in a warm Epsom Salts bath twice a day for 20 miniutes every day for 7 days, do exactly that. That's what he told me to do after doing a couple of ingrown toenail procedures, so I did it and had no problems at all. A friend of mine had the same procedure but did not follow the Epson Salts home care procedure, and he got a nasty infection. Probably the warm, moist environment in a shoe makes a great place for bacteria or fungus to grow in a surgical wound.
