Review content:
I cannot comment on this Dr's ability to relieve pain and from my research, he has good success with his patients. However, I will not be returning for treatment to see Dr. V. I have suffered lower back pain with shooting pain for almost 10 years (I am in my mid 20's). I got an MRI and it came back negative. Dr. V immediately recommended root sleve injections. Not being super comfortable with having a surgical procedure done on my back, I asked some follow up questions to the gentleman who was going over some of the paper work and liability forms. It was apparent he was new/inexperianced/not trained or all of the above. I decided that I wanted to get a second opinion to have some of my concerns cleared up. I have an appointment set up in a few weeks but asked Dr. V to provide pain meds in the mean time as I was in excruciating pain and I am going out of town. They refused to fill the perscription unless I came in for a follow up. I explained that I was getting a second opinion and was going out of town. They said unless I came in, they would not fill the perscription. Its apparent that Dr. V and his staff are more concerned about collecting their co pay and $500 from my insurance then they are ensuring their patients are taken care of.
