I boarded my dog august.I left specific feeding directions had treats bagged up for each day due to allergies. She was in good health and I had her groomed the day before. When I picked her up she was quite dirty which I expected as I did not have her washed before I picked here up.When in the car I noticed she was quite itchy which I figured once I washed here up she would be ok.\r Since then I have been battling this nightmare of whatever she picked up.They did not follow feeding instructions and not one of my treat bags had been given. So I can only guess what circuit they tripped on the dog and being she was not boarded that long I think it iust being a co-incidence makes me skeptical.\r Next time I board I will want to see the kennel cleaned and ask about and look at any dogs that will be interacting and any problems they may have. But I think this was triggered by food or something that compromised her immune system.
