One star is being too kind! I have been on many ELG ski trips but this one I was just on Feb 28-Mar 2nd has got to be thee worst ever. We were scheduled to depart at 5pm. However our bus was broken down & was not replaced until 8pm when they told us it would be at our location at 5:15. After loading the bus, we still had to make another pick up. We didn't even get on the road until 9:30pm having us arrive at the Eisenhower at 11:35pm. Check in was more than a half hour because there were only 2 ladies checking all of us in. We missed the Rep Your City meet & greet with refreshments and the Walmart run. Open bar until 2am? Yeah right!!! Thay ran out of drinks at 1:15am!!! Saturday morning breakfast was cold!! People signed up for bowling only to get there and it was CLOSED. They were then told ""Oh that was last weekends activities"" Why was that even made an option if it was for last week? Laser tag was right across the road but guess what? People had to find that out on their own because that was NOT one of the options on the activities list. Not only did they run out of food for Saturdays dinner but Sundays as well. Sunday, they replaced baked tilapia with BOXED FROZEN FISH STICKS!! Talk about cutting the budget way too short!! On Saturday, the game room was open but there were NO games going on. I guess we were supposed to bring our own huh? NONE of the equipment in the fitness room worked. One of our outlets didnt work so we had to unplug a lamp so we could charge our phones so now of course we dont have proper lighting in our room. The maintenance man told us to jiggle the plug because the outlet was really loose. Yeah ok!!! And kill ourselves?? I think NOT!!! I asked housekeeping to clean our room TWICE and they NEVER DID. As I stated before, I have been on many ski trips but this one was VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING!! We had an extra body on the bus so the CIC had to ride back seating on the steps of the bus. ALL OF THESE ISSUES COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED but like I said, I guess they wanted to cut the budget this year. This is unacceptable and I will not do another ELG event as this put a serious damper on my bday weekend \r
