Review content:
Prior to a move to a new home, we had Haines and Cross clean six carpets (four wool, two oriental) which they had cleaned before for us. First the cleaning was exceptional as before. Done in a timely fashion and stored longer than I am sure they wanted to, but great customer help in doing so. The crowning glory was the reweaving of a hand knotted wool carpet to fit the room size of our new living situation. We were worried that the rewoven side could never be as good as the original and would have to hide it in some way. Little did we know. It is as good as the original.
Needless to say, we can recommend Haines and Cross highly. If price is your only consideration (although they gave us a break here) then they may be a bit more expensive. But they are so for a reason. They do excellent work. So if quality is your concern, do give them a try. They are good--very good indeed.
