First off, the employees here are terrific and really helped to make my mom and dad's anniversary dinner very enjoyable. This after a very disappointing experience at Bruno's across the street.\r
This restaurant is a throw-back to vintage Americana when dinners were huge. If you're looking for good food, excellent service, and a fun environment, then you've found your place.\r
We started things off with coconut shrimp and spinach artichoke dip. The spinach artichoke dip, or as the cool people call it ""spin dip"", was freaking awesome. Normally, you can guess what sort of ""spin dip"" you're going to get and it's usually pretty standard, however this was not, the flavor was top notch. On top of the taste, they had no problem providing us with additional chips when we ran out.\r
I then chose the Tri-Tip Dinner which was very good. However, my mom and sister had the Bourbon Apple Chicken, which based upon their reviews and my own ""samplings"" and left overs was delicious. Both dishes came with the choice of sides, I loved the garlic mash potatoes and the salad bar. Oh yes, a salad bar, and it was excellent, totally reminded me of the East Coast.\r
On to my favorite part of the whole meal, the dessert. My parents had the Red Velvet and the sister and I went with the Cookie sandwich. Both were awesome and HUGE.\r
And again, our service was simply awesome and really made the whole place very enjoyable. Thanks to the up and coming nurse who made our night.
