Review content:
As the practice manager for this facility I continually look at these complaints and try to respond to them; however, even after they have been taken off they pop up. Therefore, let me explain the posts loridevine, who has posted this on ten different web sites>\r
\r
loridevine brought her birthing dog into our hospital after going to two other facilities and getting a much higher price. Her offer to assist in the birthing process could not be accepted due to liability insurance coverage. If she had been injured, even though she volunteered, the standard of service required would not have been met and we would have been forced to pay out tens of thousands of dollars if sued. Not an acceptable practice for any business. Additionally, if she had not been shopping around for prices her dog and the puppies might have been saved. It is not the service provider's fault when the client fails to do the right thing.\r
\r
On alanasparrow, who is also on multiple complaint sites, there is nothing to refute as it is all a manner of perception. If the service was sufficient on the previous visits why was it not sufficient on this one. A review of the medical record indicates that the cat was properly treated and the discharge instructions were clear. It is not sound practice to scrape off scab that is healing and is unlikely that it was done as described. Normal practice is to monitor the area and treat with appropriate medicine, which was prescribed at this time. It evidently worked as the complaint does not mention having to go to another vet for treatment.
