The doctors at Oakwood Women's Center are very good doctors, BUT the office staff is awful. I left there numerous times crying. The women in charge of billing are cynical and hostile. Our insurance screwed up and denied an appointment, within 3 days of receiving the denial I received a certified letter from Oakwood Women's Center threatening to terminate my care because of lack of insurance coverage. It became a huge nightmare with them basically accusing me of being uninsured and trying to not pay my bill! The care I received by the doctors there was good, but not good enough to put up with being condescended to and outright insulted. I even had my husband there to help me deal with it and they were rude and dismissive to him too! I had been through 4 pregnancies with my doctor and was well into my 5th when this all occurred. It was not the only conflict I had with the office staff it was just the "straw that broke the camel's back". Since leaving the practice I have talked to two oth
