Abbey Carpet & Floors of San Mateo helped me select a carpet for a living room padding as part of a bigger remodel project. They had a great selection of carpets, and they were helpful in choosing and ordering everything. The only reason I slightly downgraded their rating was because the installation was not a particularly good experience. The installer mixed up the day of the installation. He was supposed to have a helper, but he didn't that do, so he was alone for the work. It was clear that he was rushing and not happy that he had to work alone. He was a little sloppy. He also messed up some newly applied paint. In the end, however, the carpet came out beautifully, and our painter did not mind touching up his work.
Overall, the selection and the final product were great. Just be sure the installer is careful with everything.
