When I moved into this house one of the first things that happened is the toilet stopped working. I was really worried because based on my previous experience renting houses I figured I'd end up having to choose between buying a new toilet or endless "fixes" that kept it working for a few days. To my surprise MacPherson's without any fuss at all had a plumber come in next business day, remove the old toilet, install a brand new one, and that was it. When the furnace started acting up, again, someone was out right away to fix it. I mentioned there was no porch light, and to my surprise, they sent someone out to install one! I have no idea whether this is typical for property management companies or not, but it's definitely different than my previous experiences renting. I've been in this house going on three years now, and have no immediate plans to move.
