There actually is live music 7 nights a week--a plus if you're looking for something to do on the random week night. For those interested in the Chicago music scene, a perfect alternative to the Metro, Double Door, etc--WFP is definitely more relaxed, although generally a good crowd and great acoustics. The music booking is both local and out-of-town, and the owners really try to find great up-and-coming variety. The staff is excellent--especially if you spend a little time getting to know them. All very friendly. The drinks are relatively cheap and usually pretty strong--unlike in downtown. It's absolutely my favorite bar in the city. Feels like home. Oh, and be sure to park at the Children's Hospital a block away. If you have your parking ticket stamped at the door, it's only $3 for the whole night. Pros: Great music, great atmosphere, cheap drinks Cons: cold in winter
