I applaud this organization for their efforts and I understand this is a 100% volunteer run organization. However, it was very disappointing to fill out the pre-adoption application and be told via automated message someone would contact us in the next several days. I understand lots of rescues work this way but it's been over 2 1/2 weeks and we have heard nothing. I guess I expected at least a phone call with possible options of pets that would fit our needs if the pet we had inquired about had been adopted but unfortunately no. Luckily we moved on to another organization and are close to adopting from them. \r

Maybe others looking to adopt from Happy Tails will have better luck. \r
