I applaud this organization for their efforts and I understand this is a 100% volunteer run organization. However, it was very disappointing to fill out the pre-adoption application and be told via automated message someone would contact us in the next several days. I understand lots of rescues work this way but it's been over 2 1/2 weeks and we have heard nothing. I guess I expected at least a phone call with possible options of pets that would fit our needs if the pet we had inquired about had been adopted but unfortunately no. Luckily we moved on to another organization and are close to adopting from them. \r \r Maybe others looking to adopt from Happy Tails will have better luck. \r more

I LOVE this rescue! 10/13/2009

This is one of the very best rescue organizations in our state! They are friendly, thorough, and they TRULY care about the animals in their care. I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to adopt a wonderful dog from them and will definitely refer others to this GREAT rescue! more

This person clearly needs to get a hobby, or take up an anger management class. Pros: Cares about the well being of the animals in their care Cons: not enough fosters! more

Great Organization! 10/12/2009

Happy Tails is a really good organization that cares about the animals. Each dog is fostered in a home to ensure a good match. Happy Tails ensures that the pet is spayed, up on shots, and because of the fosters - they can help determine a good match between the family and the pet. I have personally fostered 7 dogs and we have ultimately found a forever home for each of the dogs. Thank you to Happy Tails for saving these animals! Do not adopt through Happy Tails 10/8/2009

We were promised a healthy dog but received a dog with severe bladder infection and without tick and flea medicine. The President of the Company is telling me that the dog got sick within our care. We had the dog for less than 12 hours. We accumulated costs over $500 dollars in which the President promised to pay. However, she then backed out and said dog got sick in our care. Do not adopt or use this agency as they will take your money and run. Cons: Received Sick dog without tick & Flea more
