Review content:
I've been with Pete's Rubbish for 16 years and the change of ownership to the daughter and son-in-law most definitely does not uphold the promised, ""same continued customer service."" It's clear the son-in-law (person in the truck) has issues with where the receptacle is placed and putting it back. I live on an alley with a 4-foot-long driveway. Since I've been a customer (nor has a change been formally announced to customers) has this been a situation where you are asked to bring your receptacle to the end of the driveway on collection day. I travel a lot and only have a bag of garbage about once a month. He leaves the receptacle at the very edge of the ""driveway"" causing problems for the alley plow and left me a lovely note about not having the receptacle location plowed out properly (I have all the snow removed from a very wide area all the way down to the cement). This may seem petty, but I don't have time to worry about moving my receptacle 4 feet out and back each week and coming home to notes from the garbage hauler that previously had no problems for 16 years. It seems the level of customer service isn't a priority for these new owners. I am switching my service to Gene's Disposal Services...another locally-run business with the same pricing.
