The costs are well above similar gyms in the area such as Merritt or Athens. The gym is small, lacks dead-lift and squat free-weight facilities and is dominated by the elderly and the tweens and teens. Capital investments are nonexistent. The pool lacked a working heater for 8 weeks last year because it was obsolete and replacement parts were unavailable. Ditto for the electric doors this year. In addition, the pool is mostly reserved for classes and swim team activities. Expect limited lap lane availability and poor water hygiene. Also expect a lot of insane policies such as clearing the pool when there's thunder. Don't bother trying to explain how electricity functions because the management smokescreen goes up and the ear plugs goes in. Ditto for the pool schedule which favors teams and classes. So, if you're looking for an expensive, mis-managed gym dedicated to the kids and the elderly, this is the place.
