I went into Ricks wanting to purchase a LARGE sectional couch. I literally went to every furniture shop downtown and on Monterey. You know all the stores that have names like ""Furniture 4 U"" and ""Stop Here and Buy From Us"" and ""Please Waste Your Time in Our God-Awful Showroom.""\r
Well, walking into Ricks is like a breath of fresh air. It's big, open, and has good quality stuff. Also, you don't get the feeling like someone is trying to rip you off or sell you furniture that was made illegally in some 3rd world country by an 8 year old child.\r
Rick, the owner, helped me and showed me a huge comfortable sectional with chaise (fits 7 adults easily!) and worked with me on price. He never pressured me, and even called me after I bought it to let me know there was a new color available if I wanted to change my mind. So I came in, he showed me the new color, and I changed it! The delivery guys were awesome and set everything up in my living room.\r
All in all, it was an awesome experience, and I will be shopping there again for my next purchase.
