I took one of my sons to Heartland pets to look at possibly buying a hamster. My son never even saw them. He was instantly drawn to an adorable little Cavachon who was tossing a toy in the air and jumping up to catch it. My son was in love. We took the puppy to the area to play with him and talk to the people who work there about the breed and proper care. I knew there was no way I could leave without him. My son had named him Playful before he was even payed for. I was given a packet of information that listed all his info (where he was born, when he was born, what vet care and shots he received etc) To be safe I had him vet checked the same day (and always recomend it no matter where you get your pets) and he said he was healthy, happy and energetic. It has been a year since that day and Playful is my son's best friend. They go almost everywhere together. He is still happy, healthy and energetic. I have also bought a Russian Tortoise from there. He is happy and healthy and been in our home a year and a half. I am at this time planning on buying an aquatic turtle friend for the guy I already have and a guinea pig in the next month and willbuy them from Heartland. The staff are very knowledgable and willing to help in any way they can. The store is clean and all the animals well taken care of. I never go anywhere else. I recomend them completely
