Every time I have my Forester serviced I dread the whole experience. Today was another example… I scheduled a service appointment for 7:30 AM. I was trying a new tactic of scheduling a service call instead of showing up because they could never help in a timely fashion. I called at 2:30 to see how the car was coming and if there were any issues that I needed to approve having fixed (I was having my brakes checked too). They had not even started the job yet… and said they would have it by 6PM. When I asked what setting an appointment did I was told that it is simple an opportunity to tell them what is wrong and that they get 60+ in a day to work on and work on them in priority order… guess I didn’t make the priority list. Then when they did get to my car they did not have time to finish the work than needed to be done. They did offer a loaner car. I have been a Ford owner all my life until purchasing this car nearly 4 years ago… wish I had stayed with Ford. No matter what Ford dealership I took any of my vehicles to I received far superior service.
