I was having some breathing problems this past Spring when I had a cold and had to to to the ER a couple weeks ago when I once again got a cold and just couldn't get enough oxygen. I've never had asthma before in my life but wheezing has started to bother me over the past year. We've been renting the house we are at now for about three years and have had an indoor/outdoor cat come and go without any problems but recently got a kitten early last year that is strictly indoor. The accumulation of "cat dust" and the assortment of dirty furniture we've accumulated over the years has just been getting to be too much! I have no time to clean the house, either, so it's just been getting worse. We did a head-to-toe cleaning of the whole house last week and decided it would be a good idea to do the carpets too to remove allergens. I was referred by a friend to Horizon and Adam set up an appointment for a time that worked best for my schedule. Joel arrived right on time and took a look at the areas he'd be working on. We had gotten rid of an old carpet in a middle room and he helped remove the tack strips that were still down and cleaned the floor to prepare for tile installation later. We had two other bedrooms he cleaned the carpet in and the living room has looped shag carpet that was in dire need of a cleaning - we vacuumed every once in a while, but it had been years since the last steam clean. Joel was very courteous and worked fast! I peeked into the rooms after he was finished and it looks completely different - like new again! You can see the methodical way he went over the carpet in the way the pile layed. Joel was very gentle with working around my pets and made sure I was happy with everything before he left, and to give them a call if we had any problems. The house smelled so clean! I even received a follow-up call from Adam to make sure I was satisfied and also he let me know that if I have any problems or concerns at all to just give them a call. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone needing their floors cleaned!
