I'll start off with the good. I have dined at Tangerine at least 4 times I have even brought friends in from hip cities to show off one of Philadelphia's finest dining experiences. I also love the Starr empire of restaurants. I've been to them all!!! However, we were informed on Thursday that our Saturday, June 21, 2003 reservation would have to be confirmed with a $400 credit card CHARGE, not hold. It would be removed once our group of 14 arrived and picked from a price fixed menu of $55/65. I know all about leaving a credit card in the event of cancellation, I was prepared. I was also prepared to order my favorite appetizers and entrees. Needless to say we met, we left and we dropped our dollars at ANJOU that night, a pleasant surprise. Starr is headed in Stein's direction if he keeps this up.
