Do NOT USE this company!!! Completely unprofessional! \r \r They ""said"" they ordered me a pellet stove based on thier last best deal- but obviously they didn't or just didn't want to honor their contract (which I verbally agreed to or else I'd be taking them to court). \r \r I verbally agreed to their written estimate with ""Dale"" and was trasferred to ""Tim"" the ""pellet stove expert"". Anyway ""Tim"", said I needed a larger fireplace cover and that they were ordering it but it would take 6 weeks. I called after 3, finding it strange that they would special order an item for me even without taking money. I called 2X and didn't get a return call. ""Dale"" said he would have ""TIM"" call me to verify that the cover was indeed ordered. Apparently ""Tim"" is the only person in the entire company that can check the status of an order....\r \r Finally at 6 weeks I called back and not only did they keep me on hold for 15 minutes (after i told the receptionist my name) then the bastards diconnected me!!! When i called back 2x w/in the next 5 minutes the call went straight to voice mail. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!!\r \r RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!!! THANKS FOR NOTHING DALE and TIM FROM SAFESIDE CHIMNEY!!! SCAM ARTISTS!!!!\r \r on a happy note, I ended up getting a MUCH better deal at Home Depot. \r \r PS> I tried to file a complaint w/ the BBB, but because there wasn't a financial transaction involved only an indident report can be filed- and that doesn't affect their rating. \r \r If this hasn't deterred you from using them, call the BBB and ask for details on other existing incident reports out there....\r \r And if anyone from this joke of a company ever reads this, all you had to do was tell me that you didn't order the cover. For whatever reason- you forgot- whatever.... you should have told me this when I called 3 weeks into the 6 weeks I waited. It would have been frustrating, yes, but a lot more professional then what you did which was COMPLETELY BLOW ME OFF!!!! YOU GUYS JUST REALLY SUCK AND I REALLY HOPE OTHER PEOPLE CATCH ON TO YOUR SCAM AND DRIVE YOU OUT OF BUSINESS!!! Pros: ??? Cons: TIM and DALE
