I do not recommend Sigmund Transfer. Here is my experience. Called and scheduled the move. Explained that it was a 1 BR apartment on the 3rd floor of a house, moving to an apartment building about 2 miles away that has an elevator. We had everything packed, wrapped and ready to go. The movers showed up late. Not 1 hour late. Not 2 hours late. They were over 3 hours late because of a previous move. The movers were 'shocked' to see that we lived on the third floor and said that the cost would be triple the phone quote. Their goal was to clearly get out of doing the work on that day as the wanted to come by the next morning. To top it off, they complained endlessly about their job and their employer like whiny little girls. At this point, there was no way I was letting these clowns move our stuff. I rented a truck the next day and got a friend to help, and the move took about half as long as their estimated time of 5-6 hours using half the number of movers. You have been warned. Look elsewhere for a better moving company!
