Sigmund Transfer

I do not recommend Sigmund Transfer. Here is my experience. Called and scheduled the move. Explained that it was a 1 BR apartment on the 3rd floor of a house, moving to an apartment building about 2 miles away that has an elevator. We had everything packed, wrapped and ready to go. The movers showed up late. Not 1 hour late. Not 2 hours late. They were over 3 hours late because of a previous move. The movers were 'shocked' to see that we lived on the third floor and said that the cost would be triple the phone quote. Their goal was to clearly get out of doing the work on that day as the wanted to come by the next morning. To top it off, they complained endlessly about their job and their employer like whiny little girls. At this point, there was no way I was letting these clowns move our stuff. I rented a truck the next day and got a friend to help, and the move took about half as long as their estimated time of 5-6 hours using half the number of movers. You have been warned. Look elsewhere for a better moving company! more

The WORST! Cost was way over estimate, arrived early, truck too small, quoted for more men than showed-up, filthy tarps, dented & chipped walls, grease spots on furniture, carpet in new house practically ruined, two items missing...the WORST! more

I USE THIS COMPANY TO MOVE . I NEVER SEEN UNPROFESIONAL PEOPLE IN MY LIFE. THEY GAVE ME A QUOTE ON THE PHONE WHICH WAS DIFFERENT ONCE THEY CAME OUT. THEY DAMAGE MY EXPENSIVE FURNITURE, TORN MY LEATHER, BROKE MY DRESSER, ARMORE, AND SCRATCH UP MY BEDROOM SET , LOST MY HEADBOARD CLAMP AND SAID THEY DIDN'T. THE DAMAGE MY DINNINGROOM CHAIRS AND TABLE, BROKE MY WALL UNIT. THE MANAGER BILL IS AN TRULY UNPROFESSIONAL HE DON'T HAVE MANAGER SKILLS AT ALL . HE BELIEVE HIS WORKER INSTEAD OF COMING OUT TO CHECK THE DAMAGES FOR HIS SELF. I AM LOOKING INTO FILING A LAW SUIT FOR MY DAMAGE PROPERTY. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL REGRET IT . THEY ARE ONLY WILLING TO GIVE ME 62 CENTS PER POUND FOR DAMAGE FURNTUIRE WHAT A JOKE!!!! more

Beware of Sigmund Transfer. They may quote you the cheapest price; however, the level of professionalism is ZERO! I have moved many times in my life and have never had so many broken, smashed, damaged and missing items. The only person who had a clue about moving was the driver. They low balled the estimate. Ended up paying much more than expected and they couldn't even fit everything in their truck!! They wanted to come back the next day to finish!!!! I will never use them again. Pros: cheap - but you get what you pay for! Cons: unprofessional, rude, nasty movers more

I am getting ready to move again and this is the 3rd time I will have used this company. My friend moves a lot more than me and she loves them. Don't think I would ever use anyone else. They are very affordable and the movers are very friendly. more
