10/16/13 - I was a walk in patient. I had called earlier to ask how much an office visit was. It was $45. The girl who answered the phone was friendly. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted and asked to sign in. But, my dog was in extreme pain. The front desk took our info quickly and had us wait no longer than 10 minutes before we got a room. A tech looked over Chandler and wrote down the symptoms. She left and we waited maybe 5 min before Dr. Brian came in. Everyone said hello and was sooooo nice to me and Chandler. Dr. Brian listened to my list of symptoms and then told me about the exam as he did it. Chandler hurt his neck. It would need an xray to confirm diagnosis but today I didn't have the money. Dr Brian was kind enough to give us pain meds, anti-inflammatory, and muscle relaxants. I had to leave the clinic to pick up cash so Chandler could get a fast acting shot to get the pain under control. Thanks to everyone who helped us today. All of you were fast and courteous and kind. I was super scared because my beloved dog was in pain and I had no idea why. I also called this clinic at night because I was nervous about my dog panting and then breathing heavy. The office assured me that this was normal and to give him all his meds tonight. Of coarse, I could take my dog back in if I was uncomfortable with his level of pain. I decided to keep chandler at home and to see how he feels after I gave him all his pain meds. Its been 8 hrs home and Chandler is calmer and resting. Hopefully, the meds (with crate rest) will work. Thanks, NEVC! I will definitely recommend your clinic!
