Review content:
We've gone to Abbey Carpet & Floor before and been happy with them. We've had good luck with them on previous carpets, and the same great salesman has always helped us. The installers, however, were different than the ones we'd had this time around. The way they did the work over our landing's edge was a problem. The seams don't look nearly as good this time as before.
I'm also not as happy with the carpeting. We would have chosen just a regular strand, not silk, if we had realized how difficult it would be to vacuum. We went ahead and bought a different vacuum for it, as suggested by Abbey. The carpet is still getting caught and pulled, though. I think people need to be made aware of how difficult it is.
We went back to Abbey for a reason, but we just aren't as satisfied this time.
