I lived at Cascade for about three years. Initially, everything was great: the staff was knowledgeable and friendly, the neighbors were welcoming, the complex was quiet and safe. However, in the last year, I can say this is no longer the case. Every knowledgeable and helpful staff member has left for other jobs. The complex is run-down--siding falling off, landscaping a mess, the lock on the front door not working, you name it--and maintenance takes ages to fix problems. The population of the complex is extremely transient--in one month, out the next--and although that is not a problem in and of itself, it stopped feeling like a secure place. People were constantly in and out of the complex, and you could never tell if they belonged there or were there for other purposes. I just no longer felt safe living there, or like I was getting my money's worth.
