Dr. Margaret Hermann has a gift ... compassion for animals (and their owners) and an amazing ability to care for them in a way that lets them (and their owners) know that she has their best interest at heart. My little Yorkie is at peace when Dr. Hermann is examining her. She never squirms or tries to get away and seriously seems to be excited when we drive up to her office! When Dr. Hermann looks into her eyes and speaks softly to her, she seems to relax and completely trust her. I had an older dog who passed away two years ago. Dr. Hermann was a godsend during that whole process. She was compassionate and caring for him as well as compassionate and caring for me - never once recommending extreme or costly procedures to extend his life for my own benefit. I honestly believe she has the animal's best interest at heart. She does recommend tests and procedures as one of the previous posters commented. However, the final decision is the pet owners and she works within their finan
