Review content:
Major Brand & Abbey Carpet of Seattle actually came out in April. We just took a while to get organized, and so we had the job done this past week. It was great. The first time they came out they took measurements and since we live in an older house they gave us some tips about what may be tricky, the pros and cons about different choices, and estimated things out both ways.
Before doing the job, they came out again to make sure everything was right and we had up-to-date prices. We were able to start almost two days later. Mark was our installer and he was awesome. He was actually early, which was great. The whole process was exactly how they described it. The floor looks beautiful and it was done in only a day and a half. It ended up costing us less, too, because they used less material.
Somebody in the neighborhood recommended them. They were great and I was really impressed. I didn't get a lot of quotes from other places, so I have no idea how their pricing is. We've owned the house for a long time, though, and I've come to learn that spending a little more, which I'm not even sure we did, is often worth it. They were professional, got the job done, and how much they told us it would cost is what it ended up being. It was just a great experience.
