Review content:
Have a daughter getting married 3-2014. Want to look (at 57) like MOB not grandmother of bride. On a friend's recommendation researched Marina Plastic Surgery. Some reviews are super unfair. Did I have to wait 1/2 hour before my scheduled consultation time? Yes, but it was not because they didn't care but rather because they spend so much time with you in your consult that it backs them up a bit. Once in consultation I felt like I was the center of their universe and they spent lots of extra time with me. I wanted a ""grocery list"" of things done to this old body. They were super honest about what could be done and what was not going to achieve what my brain envisioned. In other words, they did not see a ""newbie"" to cosmetic surgery and try to sell my everything in sight. That made me feel very comfortable. They weren't just after my money.\r Super scared about cosmetic surgery I told them that my biggest concern was bruising. I bruise at an abnormally fast and severe rate. At my first consult, (8-29-13) Carla Lovato, MS, PA-C, recommended thermage and a laser peel a filler for my hands. I am trying to schedule those things now. I felt sooooooooooooo comfortable with these people that I am considering a neck tightening as well. While at the consult I did brave a botox treatment to my forehead and crows feet. NO BRUSING! Yea!!!! Will send updates (as I understand it takes a week or so for the botox to really kick in)later.\r One last thing, Charlie Sheridan, Director of all of the procedures, was with me the whole time of the consult. I felt like I was their only patient. All attention was paid to me. It gave me the courage to try new things and to be able to feel better about myself. At my age I need all of the reassurance possible. Marina Plastic Surgery Associates gave me that and more.\r Will report back in a week to see how my botox is doing and later how the real work I wanted done went. Marina Plastic surgeons, (Charlie Sheridan and Carla Lovato in particular) were exactly what ""scared me"" needed for my first visit. Am looking forward to my daughter's wedding with a face that matches my age!
