Great tapas (4 for $18) for starters (try octopus, calamari, lamb and oysters). VERY busy on Valentine's Day 2008 w/NO reservation. Thanks to a very courteous Ortega the maitre d' boss man, wait was not too long. Ambiance helped pass the wait: a soothing waterfall, wine tower and a cozy fireplace snuggled in a deep leather chair with the missus. Best for romantic trysts w/wife or date. We had a 3-course Chinese New Year fixed price offering at a very reasonable and feng shui-approved $28.88. The main entree was so-so but we loved the sorbet with berries (raspberries shouldn't have been served -- badly spoiled, whichruined our otherwise good meal experience. Popular banana pudding ran out (sigh). Reservation a MUST. Validate stamp for underground garage valet parking as on-street parking tough in downtown Flushing. - A PLUS. Ambiance with the semi-private four booths with the pillows will spoil your female escort. Next time: may try the kitchen table to watch Chef Navarro at his creative best. Bring thick wallet or a thin valid credit card as it will cost especially the yummy Passion Fruit Mojito. Pros: Ortega - maitr d' boss man, Chef Navarro, romantic waterfall/fireplace, tapas, parking Cons: service overstreched on Valentine's Day 2008
