I purchased a remnant carpet from Abbey Carpet & Floors of San Mateo. They sent some guys out to install it down a stairwell. The installation went fine.
I had removed all the carpet before they got here because there was some painting I wanted to do ahead of time. I asked them to haul away the old carpet with them, which they did.
The installation took a really long time. I'm not exactly sure why it took so long--it took the whole day--but I guess it was a complicated job. The workers were pleasant enough. I didn't interact with them too much; they were very independent.
Overall, the service was good. They did what they said they would. They had a hole in their schedule that they were able to schedule me in, so I got service pretty fast.
