HORRIBLE!! I walked in the door with the intent to ""browse"" the show room. I am currently looking for a sofa. I was greeted by an over bearing salesman by the name of Vincent Kinsler. I made it clear that I just wanted to ""browse"" (not buy). I tried to walk around him and he stepped in my way and started to play 20 Questions with me. He then had me follow him to two sofas I was not interested in. On the third sofa, when I said the sofa was cute, he took me into an office and started sketching a living room plan for me with a bunch of furniture that I didn't need or want. He then began to run all over the store pulling rugs, lamps, paintings, tables, etc over to this sofa that I said was just cute. I could not get a word in edgewise. He boldly confessed that he had over 900 clients and that he is in high demand. Finally after about an hour, I asked if he could just give me a brochure and that I'll think about it. He again boldly told me that there was no need for me to go anywhere else to look. He proceeded to total up ALL of the furniture that he told me I ""needed"". It came out to nearly $5000. All I was looking for was a sofa! He never asked me what my budget was. He never asked me if I needed all of that furniture. I never got to browse the store. All I got to see were three sofas in an hour. Needless to say, I could not get out of there fast enough. I will NEVER return to this store. I'm sure Haverty's has good furniture and ""if"" I do decide to buy their furniture it will NOT be from there.
