I used to like this salon. I mainly had a hair cut & style, but sometimes also had pedicure, manicure and other add-ons when they had the staff. Although the stylists were personable, quite frankly they also were lazy. When no one was at the desk, the stylists would let the phone ring and allow customers to wait without being greeted. It's not like this place was ever busy either - they just wouldn't bother. \r \r I've been through 2 stylists at this location since they first opened. Both did a nice job with my hair. However, after being with each for over a year, they started showing late for appointments, not showing at all, or cancelling at the last minute. Although this place never seemed busy, my stylists were rarely on time and I frequently waited 15-20 minutes to get to the chair. The last time the stylist wasn't there for my appointment, I waited 10 minutes and then walked out and never came back. That was about two years ago. \r \r Management never made it up to me, although one time a comp'ed haircut was promised. I got charged anyway. No surprise, really. \r \r I wanted to try Scotty to do my hair because I never saw this behavior in him. However, I just didn't want to run into the other bimbos that work here. So, I'm getting a better cut and better service elsewhere for less, even though JCP is like 2 minutes from my house. This JCP is nice, new, and clean, and the salon could be awesome with a little effort. \r \r Pity.
